| Abstract: |
A lighting control console for controlling a lighting system has at least
one dual encoder for entering input values. The dual encoder includes a
first shaft rotatably mounted in a housing and a first locking mechanism,
for locking different rotational positions of the first shaft, and at
least one first rotation signal generator for generating a data signal
showing a switchover between two locking positions. A second shaft is
mounted in the housing and is coaxially rotatable with respect to the
first shaft. The second shaft is provided at the dual encoder, and a
second locking mechanism for locking different rotational positions of
the second shaft and at least one second rotation signal generator for
generating a data signal showing a switchover between two locking
positions. A method for entering data, more precisely input values, at
the lighting control console is also disclosed.
