| Abstract: |
A lighting fixture includes a housing defining a longitudinal axis, a
lamp carriage assembly disposed inside the housing and supporting one or
more lamps parallel with the longitudinal axis, and a motor coupled
between the housing and the lamp carriage assembly and operative for
pivoting the lamp carriage assembly relative to the housing about a pivot
axis of the lamp carriage assembly. A method of operating the lighting
fixture includes (a) causing a lamp carriage assembly disposed inside the
housing to be in a home position and outputting light in response to
illumination of the one or more lamps of the lamp carriage assembly, and
(b) causing the lamp carriage assembly to pivot about its pivot axis
thereby redirecting where the light output by the lamp carriage assembly
travels in response to the illumination of the one or more lamps of the
lamp carriage assembly.
