A retaining bracket for spotlights is provided. The retaining bracket
comprising bracket bearings which are arranged at the ends of the
retaining bracket, for accommodating the spotlight housing and a central
supporting bearing for connecting the retaining bracket to a supporting
apparatus The distance of the bracket bearings from one another is
capable of being adjusted in self-centering fashion.
