A filter for a fluorescent lighting tube. The filter includes a sheet of
polymeric material having fold lines scribed thereon, defining a
plurality of sections. The sections allow the filter to be positioned
about and secured to a fluorescent tube without removal of the tube from
its mounting fixture. The filter of the may be configured to filter
color, ultraviolet light, or other wavelengths of the electromagnetic
spectrum.
