Method of Lamp Replacement Warning For Image Projection Lighting Devices |
| Abstract: |
An apparatus is provided including an image projection lighting device.
The image projection lighting device may be comprised of a base housing,
a yoke, and a lamp housing. The lamp housing may be comprised of a lamp
and a first light valve. The image projection lighting device may be
further comprised of a communications port, a processing system, and a
memory. A cutoff value representing an amount of accumulated operating
time at which the lamp may begin to operate improperly may be stored in
the memory. An accumulated value representing an actual accumulated
amount of operating time of the lamp may also be stored in the memory.
The processing system may prevent the lamp from operating when the
accumulated value is within a limit of the cutoff value, unless the
processing system grants a request for a variance.
