Portable Light Diffuser |
| Abstract: |
A system for controlling the light cast by a studio light (8) comprises a
collapsible light diffuser or soft box (4) having open opposite ends and a
light-reflective inner surface for diffusing light passing therethrough. A
number of support brackets (40) extend along the outer surface of the soft

assembled and reassembled for movement between different locations, and it
is sufficiently rigid to remain self-supporting when the light source is
moved around or redirected. The system further includes a collapsible
light container or snoot (10) telescopically coupled to the soft box for
adjusting the amount of diffusion of the light to contain or direct the
diffused light to a general area on the set.
