An automatic gel changer for remote operation, including a rotary solenoid
associated with each gel frame to rotate such frames in and out of the
path of the beam of light from the spotlight. Also associated with each
gel frame is a damper for causing the motion of the gel frames as provided
by the solenoids to be smooth and continuous.
