| Abstract: |
A lighting control apparatus for stage lighting and the like in which
lighting values are stored and handled entirely by digital techniques, the
apparatus being based on a general-purpose digital computer.
The invention also provides a novel method of controlling crossfades from
one lighting state to another which is economical in its demands on data
handling capacity, since it operates by defining the required changes as a
given number of increments thus permitting further control to be by means
of addition and subtraction only. A novel clock circuit for use in this
incremental cross-fading is described.
